I passed deliberately
through the lanes of my momentous memories
the good, the bad and the ugly!
I found a Pandora's box:
-the learning life lessons
-the legacy of literature and music from Papa
-the warmth of the cozy cuddles of Ma,
-the irritable sibling fights, yet closeness with a big bro,
-the fun time with my chuddy-buddies,
-the solace under the stars,
with the love of my life,
-the travel bug that keeps me biting,
-the books and poems and
-love for the written word
-the nostalgia of the past
-the eagerness for the future,
-my indomitable will ,
-the love for freedom,
-the zest for life itself.
All these and more
make me me and
I'm nothing more,
nothing less-
just a simple little woman who
just gives the best of me!
