Nothingness

Dead feelings,
a silence within.
I feel numb all over.
Was it a dream that I
had lived even without  sleeping?

Frozen senses,
broken promises.
I feel shattered within.
Was it a rainbow
that I saw just turned  colourless?

Cacophonic music
ugly beauty.
I feel swindled , robbed:no peace
just plain nothingness..
Was it a stranger
that I had thought to be my own ?
